Since 2018, I’ve been helping my clients find their optimal wellness through developing a deeper understanding of their habits and lifestyle choices. As a certified Mental Health Coach, Life Coach, and Chaplain, I aim to create a life balance that prioritizes your well-being and celebrates all aspects of your true self. It’s time to start nurturing your body and soul again. I use my experience of overcoming childhood trauma, addiction, and mental illness to help you break every chain and live your fullest life! 

This is different from any other coaching or counseling you have experienced. I take you out of the everyday routine for local Kayaking, hiking, or just sitting at a park. These sessions are designed to have the most effective results in your personal life without the frustration of traditional sofa-style coaching.  Everything you need is included in the session. Meet me at a local lake, river, or trail and I will have all the gear you need.  Just show up!

One-on-One Coaching

We meet one-on-one Kayaking, hiking, shooting, or just sitting in nature, in a setting you choose to dive into what is holding you back. These are real, intense, and blunt sessions designed for 6-8 weeks. Sessions are charged weekly and are great for those men who have not had luck with traditional therapy in the past. Every session comes with whatever you need to do the task so all kayaks, hiking gear, and passes to all parks and waterways are included with your session. 

Group Sessions

Group sessions are a great way to collaborate and a more gentle intro into coaching. We work together in weekly sessions to discover what is holding you back while we create a 90-day plan of action to get you back in the game. Subscribe below to get notified when new outdoor group sessions are scheduled. I can accommodate groups of 5 for kayaking trips, hiking trips, and camping. Groups sessions meet weekly or bi-weekly and every week is a new topic and task. 

Outdoor Retreats

These are weekend and 3-day small group coaching adventures. Sometimes we all need to get away and find ourselves in the adventure. Trips include hiking, camping, and kayaking. These retreats are a good mix of group sessions, one-on-one time, tasks to reach the next site, and solo time. I provide: -Kayak, tent, sleeping bag, meals (large dinner, small meals, and snacks during the day. Coffee always!) You: -Carry your gear, Kayak to the next point, set up camp, and prepare meals.

Corporate Seminars

I bring common issues and techniques for your employees. I can speak directly to the corporate team, managers, employees, and provide company-wide seminars. Available on Zoom for companies with multiple locations.

Sessions are designed for each client. Weekly session location or activity can be changed from week to week. 

Traditional Office session

Traditional life coaching in an office setting can meet outside of the office, wherever you feel comfortable. Sessions are one hour and best if meet weekly. Sessions are billed at $65 per session or $200 a month.  

Kayaking Session

All Kayaking sessions start on Eagle Creek reservoir or a similar beginner's level lake or reservoir. Kayak and all necessary equipment are provided. These are 2-hour sessions on the water. We paddle out and have our session on the water. Science shows that most men need to burn some energy and do something physical before they can really have honest and open conversations. These sessions give you an opportunity to get out of your daily routine and experience new activities while getting one on one coaching. Once a client is confident in kayaking and has a desire for more skilled kayaking, we will move on to Whiteriver and a more challenging course.  Sessions start at $100 and can be extended to 4, 6, or 8-hour trips. 


Hiking is another good way to burn some energy, change your surroundings and fulfill that explorer desire. We meet at local parks, trails, and forests for moderate hikes while having our session. Sessions typically include 1 hour of walking/hiking and start at $65 a session, sessions can be extended and hikes can be tailored to clients' skill set and desire. 

Top Golf

 We have just added Top Golf as an activity. We will meet at Top Golf and have 1 or 2-hour sessions driving golf balls in a private booth. This is a great way to get introduced to Barret Coaching and the driving range has been a great source of release for men for years so it only makes sense to have some real honest convo while driving a few downrange. These sessions can be scheduled Monday-Thursday from 11-5. The cost per session is $65 and $100 for a 2-hour session.

I am a true adventurer and will create a session that is exactly the kind of activity you want to do while providing real qualified life coaching.

It's easy to get stuck in the routine of work and life in general. Sometimes we just need a controlled burn, a little adventure, and some good conversation. It's easy as men to try and survive on our own but collaboration and accountability are vital for growth and your overall health. I am available to my clients 24/7 for quick calls to help get you over those random hurdles life puts in our path and will create a package/program that is unique to you and your journey.
